After receiving the phone call no one ever wants to get, my wife and I were faced with the reality of a cancer diagnosis and the urgent need to make a plan. We consulted with three different doctors, and each recommended chemotherapy. Once we committed to a treatment path, I began thinking, "How can I help her stay positive through such a difficult journey?" One answer stood out: "What if she could keep her hair?"
That’s when we discovered cold capping. We decided to give it a try—and it worked. My wife was able to retain roughly 90% of her hair throughout treatment. I served as her capper and saw firsthand the impact it had, not just physically, but emotionally.
After experiencing those results and the positivity it brought to our lives, I knew I wanted to help others in the same way. I believe staying positive is a big part of the battle, and if I can play a role in that for someone else, why wouldn’t I?
Now, I’m here and ready to support others on their journey—because I’ve been there, and I know how much it matters.
