Stephen Halloway
My name is Stephen Holloway, and I’ve been Cold Capping continuously since April 2013. It began when my girlfriend—facing her second round of breast cancer—chose to cold cap again, and I stepped in to support her through the process. She had used cold caps during her first treatment, and this time, I was there to take the lead.
During that experience, I met another person who needed help, so I stepped in. When her treatment ended, word spread, and I started receiving more requests. One person turned into two, then three—and I never stopped.
Over the past 13 years, I’ve had the privilege of working with more than 50 individuals. Each experience has been deeply meaningful, and the results I’ve witnessed continue to reaffirm why this work matters. One of the most powerful things I’ve come to understand is that Cold Capping gives people something invaluable: choice. It gives you control over how—and when—you share your story. That’s something no one else should decide for you.
