I’ve lived in the Charlotte area for the past twenty years, where my husband, Jim, and I have raised our 3 boys. I’ve always been passionate about helping others, which led me to a career in special education. In that role, I provided individualized support to families, helping them navigate next steps, coordinate care, and feel supported during challenging times. Building trusting relationships and offering both practical and emotional support has always been at the heart of my work.
As a two-time cancer survivor, I deeply understand the fear, uncertainty, and strength this journey requires. My hope is to reassure others that they are not alone and to walk alongside them with guidance and support every step of the way.
I discovered cold capping when a close friend and I were going through cancer treatments at the same time. Seeing the positive impact hair preservation had on her emotional well-being was incredibly powerful. That experience inspired me to support others through cold capping and help clients find the confidence that can come with preserving their hair during treatment.
