Kaley Barden

Originally from Mississippi, I’ve called Charlotte home for the past five years. It’s where I met my husband and where we’re now happily settled with our sweet pup, Millie. I work full-time as a speech-language pathologist in an inpatient rehabilitation hospital, where I care for patients recovering from strokes, brain injuries, and various neurological conditions.

My interest in cold capping grew from a desire to support others through a different kind of healing journey—one that’s deeply personal and emotional. While my professional background centers on physical recovery, I’ve always been drawn to the human side of care: being a steady, compassionate presence during vulnerable moments. I truly believe we’re here to help one another, to show up in ways big and small, and to be a friend when someone needs it most.

Cold capping may be one piece of someone’s journey, but it’s a meaningful one. I’m honored to walk alongside clients in this way and to be part of a process that helps preserve not only hair, but a sense of normalcy, confidence, and control.
