Carola “CJ” Johnson
CJ became a capper in March 2025, inspired by her personal experience supporting her grandmother through chemotherapy. During that time, they shared laughter, shed a few tears, and created lasting memories—moments that deepened CJ’s understanding of the importance of compassionate support. Wanting to be a caring presence for others going through similar journeys, she saw capping as a meaningful way to offer comfort, encouragement, and assistance.
Her first introduction to cold capping came through a friend who provided the service for his wife, and she was immediately drawn to the impact it had. Having been her grandmother’s chemo buddy, CJ is also familiar with the hospital setting and understands the importance of both practical and emotional support during treatment. She is excited to bring warmth and reassurance to those she caps and looks forward to being part of their journey.
