In 2014, I was diagnosed with stage two breast cancer. Throughout my journey, I was blessed with the support of so many incredible people, and one thing that made a profound impact was using Penguin Cold Caps to help preserve my hair during treatment. It wasn’t about vanity—it was about maintaining a sense of normalcy when everything else felt out of control. With young children at home, I didn’t want to look sick when I didn’t feel sick. Cold capping gave me that small but powerful sense of control.
Now, on the other side of my cancer journey, I’ve partnered with Capping Partners of America to give back and bring hope to women facing similar battles. My experience has made me a testament that everything is going to be okay. I want to support others, showing them that even in the midst of uncertainty, there are ways to hold on to what makes them feel like themselves.
